6th Edition of Mid-Career Training Program-I

The Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) is conducting the 6th edition of Mid-Career Training Program-I (MCTP-I) for 37 IFS officers  from July 5-16, 2021. MCTP-I  is being conducted in the virtual mode and includes participants from the Ministry of External Affairs as well as our Missions and Posts abroad.

2.       Amb J.S. Mukul ,Dean (SSIFS) in his inaugural address, welcomed the participants and expressed his hope that they benefit from the training programme curated keeping in mind their professional needs. He conveyed his best wishes to the participants for successful completion of MCTP-I.

3.      Mid-Career Training Program- I  is a mandatory training programme for IFS officers of 8-12 years  experience and is conducted every year. MCTP-I, being held from July 5-16 2021, will include modules covering the entire gamut of foreign and domestic policy and also cover other important topics like cyber security, role of new technology in foreign policy, cultural diplomacy, diaspora matters and health diplomacy.
